IT Business Analyst for Information Lifecycle Management (f/m/div)
Your Tasks
- Understand the business user's needs, meet their expectations and communicate the implementation process
- Capture and clearly document archiving business requirements from various functional areas
- Understand business process flow and create archiving solution design and deliver it to developers for implementation
- Work together with eArchive Board to prioritize and rationalize the requirements
- Work closely with developers on change requests until implementation and solve problems throughout the development process (depth in technical knowledge)
- Perform quality assurance tests and confirm the application/enhancement meet business requirements
- Coordinate and support business users in User Acceptance Test (UAT)
Requirements
- A Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Informatics or in a related field
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in internal IT Department or in consulting
- Knowledge of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and IT Information Library (ITIL)
- Excellent negotiation skills and a fast learning ability
- Experience in working for an international industrial company – ideally with regard to data and document retention and its legal requirements Experience with project management
- Very good communication skills and fluent English skills
- Good German language skills
- Experience with the configuration and the use of Document Management Systems (e.g. Saperion or OpenText) and with their interfaces in SAP systems
- Experience for retention regulations and GDPR requirements of international government bodies
- Knowledge of technological basics in the field of data transfer concepts (middleware, ETL, etc.)
