Our client is an Asian chemical group with international presence. The company now is looking to expand its European footprint. As a part of this it has decided to establish a position as Sales Director West Europe (m/w/d) with responsibility for West Europe.


Sales Director West Europe (m/w/d)

Your responsibilities:

  • Prime focus on BeNeLux, France, Germany, and the UK
  • Map out strategy for the European market for Polypropylene (PP) business
  • Development of new PP customers
  • Providing market intelligence on competitors in Europe 
  • Development of a sales team 

Your background: 

  • Academic degree in Chemicals, Process Engineering or Business Administraton
  • Professional experience from a larger company in the petrochemical industry
  • Very good knowledge of the market for thermoplastic polymers (e.g. polyolefins, polypropylene, etc.) 
  • Excellence in strategic selling, result oriented
  • Used to interact with customers and partners on a CxO level  
  • Ability to work independent with support and guidance from Asian Headquarters
  • Language: Fluent both in German and in English, knowledge in French is an advantage
