Director International Sales - Segment Retail (f/m/x)

YOUR TASKS 

  • You act as the international Sales Director for entire RETAIL segment (including Convenience, Discount, Supermarket etc.) with focus on Global Accounts
  • Establish senior business relationships and new business strategies with Key Account customers
  • Ability to steer and execute project related sales business or consultancy to customers / peers, all over the world
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to prepare proposals which meet the customers demand
  • Act as the “voice of segment” and provide segment trends and requirements into the organization
  • Coordinate and implement sales and marketing activities
  • Drive and develop the segment based on defined KPI (Segment growth, sales, e.g.)

YOUR PROFILE

  • Proven track record in successful selling as well as experience in dealing with international medium or large accounts
  • Significant experience in the Retail segment (equipment supply in cooling, shop-fitting, baking ...)
  • International market experience
  • Passionate about emerging food concepts and in the Retail industry
  • Strong selling and networking skills paired with the ability to convince others as well
  • Self-reliant, solution-oriented way of working with outstanding team skills
  • Excellent English language skills, other languages are advantageous

Your mission

As a SALES DIRECTOR for the RETAIL Industry (f/m) you represent our client at all major potential clients in this industry. The role is HQ based and complements local sales efforts and organizations all over the world. Vice versa, you will be the "Voice of Segment" in the headquarter and will participate in all necessary initiatives to further improve products and technology for your sales segment. You will translate products and solutions into "real world" answers for relevant target groups.

 

Restrictions

The position is located in Germany; a relocation is mandatory. Ability to acquire relevant visa for Germany. Willingness to travel is expected. English language skills need to be on an excellent level. German language is not required. but a plus. Professional Sales and Industry background is mandatory. "Chef" skills can be a plus but are neither mandatory nor sufficient.
