After obtaining my MSc. degree in Precision Engineering, I commenced my career as a team leader responsible for technical project management with a medium-sized company specializing in electromechanical assemblies. After a few years, I transitioned into the field of HR consulting, specializing in engineering. I have been active in this business segment for over 20 years now. As of 2001, I have built up and managed subsidiaries for several engineering service providers throughout Baden-Wuerttemberg. Is a proper understanding of the region, its economic structure and business culture a necessity?
