Your Role
- You support qualified opportunities in the area of ECAD integration solutions with CAD/MCAD, PLM across EMEA and act as the key technical contact in the early project phase (no cold calling, you will work only on validated opportunities in conjunction with Sales Account Management)
- You understand customer requirements, structure them from both a business and technical perspective, and translate them into robust solution concepts with clear value for the customer
- You lead workshops, discovery sessions, demos and proof of concepts, and support technical evaluations as well as proposal and tender processes
- Working closely with sales, services and product management, you help ensure a smooth handover into delivery and a consistently high standard throughout the pre-sales process
Your Profile
- You bring solid experience in pre-sales, solution consulting or technical sales in the field of ECAD, combined with CAD/MCAD, PLM or engineering software
- You understand the business context of engineering processes, product data management and integration scenarios in established customer environments
A strong willingness to learn is essential, as each consulting project comes with a different combination of systems, tools and customer requirements
- You feel comfortable getting up to speed quickly in new environments and are confident setting up and administering demo and PoC systems yourself
What matters most is your ability to engage engineering, IT and business stakeholders as a credible peer and connect complex topics with clear business value

Your Challenge
As a Pre-Sales Engineer ECAD, you are the first point of contact for our client’s customers across EMEA for qualified ECAD-related opportunities. You understand customer needs, translate them into relevant solution concepts and show how the integration of ECAD with PLM and CAD/MCAD can create real efficiency gains.
Acting as a trusted advisor, you work closely with sales, services and product management to shape solutions that are technically convincing and commercially sound. You also help guide a small pre-sales team and ensure a consistently high standard across customer engagements.
