Software Developer (m/f/d) in the Automotive Sector
WHAT TO DO:
- Develop and implement high-quality software solutions for vehicle electronics and infotainment systems.
- Analyze requirements and technical specifications, and create corresponding solution concepts.
- Collaborate closely with other developers and departments to implement software modules.
- Conduct testing, bug fixing, and continuous improvement of software quality.
- Integrate and customize existing software to meet specific customer requirements.
- Document software architectures and development processes.
WHAT YOU BRING ALONG:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in software development in the Automotive industry.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Java, or Python.
- Experience in real-time and embedded software development.
- Knowledge of Automotive software development standards (e.g., AUTOSAR).
- Automotive SPICE certification (e.g., Automotive SPICE® Competent Engineer)
- Certification in one of the relevant Functional Safety Standards (e.g., TÜV Rheinland Functional Safety Engineer, ISTQB Automotive Software Tester, ISO 26262 Certified Automotive Functional Safety Professional)
- Familiarity with common Automotive development tools and methodologies.
- Good understanding of bus systems like CAN, LIN, or FlexRay.
- Ideally, experience in developing safety-critical software according to ISO 26262 or similar standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
