Marketing Assistant (f/m/d)

YOUR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Tradeshow planning and organization

  • Responsible for overall planning and organisation of all national tradeshows
  • Maintain and overview close vendor relationships including marketing and publication contacts (Printers, Journal Contacts, Graphic Design Agencies, Mailing Houses, etc.) 
  • Support field sales team with ideas regarding promotional marketing materials, and assisting with the coordination of tradeshow activities 

Production, Publishing and Mailout of company’s online and offline catalagues and product updates

  • Strong understanding of creative conceptualization of advertising, direct mailers, annual catalog/pamphlets, email campaigns, and other forms of marketing materials
  • Track, monitor and report all key performance results from distributed/utilized marketing materials, shows and projects 
  • Keep offline and online content current and assist with the development and improvement of web business

Oversee all media and press relations

  • Analyze media kits and propose strategic action plans to management and prepare insertion orders
  • Maintain and create content for company newsletters and social media e.g. Facebook, Linkedin etc.

Overall marketing responsibilties

  • Manage and maintain an integrated annual marketing calendar that ensures shared visibility of team activities for all marketing efforts
  • US counterpart for marketing activities working collaboratively with the German marketing team
  • Recommends marketing objectives by contributing modern/fresh ideas for brand awareness and publicity. 
  • Responsible for budget awareness for all marketing activities

Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills via phone and written etiquette providing superb customer service 
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple and competing tasks 
  • E-marketing experience is a plus 
  • Strong hands-on leadership ability with a high attention to detail and positive enthusiastic can-do attitude
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically to attend trade shows
  • Work experience in the medical products industry are preferred, but not required
  • Ability to speak another language is preferred, but not required, German is a plus
  • Experience working with Sage CRM, Salesforce, or any other web-based CRM programs preferred but not required
