Our customer is a Japan based medical device company. We are looking for a motivated employee based in the Headquarter in Du¨sseldorf which has been established in 2020. As the Training Education Specialist, you will be an integral part of delivering future system training with robotic surgery system. Your role is more than just training. To ensure a high quality training program you are also responsible for evaluating the European training development process which includes a close collaboration with external training facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning, organization and execution of future pre-and post sales training as well as OR staff and surgeons on the surgical system 
  • Ensure right communication of the clinical and surgical benefit of the surgery system, compared to open and classical minimal invasive surgery to customers and employees 
  • Leading product demonstrations 
  • Support and overcome surgical challenges 
  • Build European Training Education program for Surgical System based on training program which HQ developed for Japanese market 
  • Work directly with the training education, R&D, marketing team in Japan as needed 
  • Research new technologies in healthcare, customer training programs, identifying potential applications to meet business needs 
  • Supporting the development of training materials, content and identifying the need for further training 


Background:

  • Min. 5 years’ experience in training education within medical device industry 
  • Knowledge of surgical environment, terminology, common surgical procedures, preferable minimal invasive procedures 
  • Comfortable working with highly technical material and strong ability to present the complex in clear, simple terms 
  • Excellent knowledge of healthcare industry and upcoming trends in surgery 
  • Good writing and presentation skills including fluency and self-confidence 
  • Ability to research, gather, digest and summarize technical matter (both clinical and technical) 
  • Ability to build relationship with key customers and opinion leaders 
  • Ability to contribute to a team environment 
  • Possibility to work at office/training center in Du¨sseldorf, especially the first year 
  • Fluent German (native speaker equivalent) and English 
  • Motivation and enjoyment to work primarily in English 
  • Willing to travel internationally 
  • Driver License class B
