Business Development Director (m/f/d)

  • The primary objective is to develop distribution channels for new product category in existing as well as new markets
  • Set up distributor partnerships in Germany and later other European Countries 
  • Selection of preferred Local Channel Partners e.g. furniture channel, electric specialist, hyper market
  • Manage, cooperate and coordinate the distributors and drive the sales
  • Conduct analysis based on a deep understanding of the markets using desk research, actual observation, market data and consumer knowledge 
  • Frequent contact with Department heads located in China for the product development and marketing
  • Monitor orders, invoices and credit limits to ensure settlements are on time and comply with the credit terms
  • Bachelor degree or above, preferably in business, communications or economics
  • 8 years of experiences in regional sales & marketing, preferably personal care or industry sectors
  • Great knowledge of European markets
  • Great leadership, business acumen combined with strong influencing skills
  • Know and use market survey experts
  • Outstanding communication skills, commercial sense and result driven
  • Experience with Asian organizations welcome
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and German
